StillBox is a small breathwork app for iPhone, made by Cerminara Consulting LLC. This policy explains what data the app handles.
The short version: we collect nothing. Nothing leaves your phone. There are no accounts, no servers, no analytics, no tracking. You can stop reading here.
StillBox does not collect, transmit, store, sell, or share any personal data. Specifically, it does not collect:
StillBox contains no analytics software and no crash-reporting software. Separately from the app, if you have turned on "Share iPhone Analytics" in iOS Settings, Apple's operating system may send Apple diagnostic and usage data about the apps on your device, including StillBox. Apple may then show that data to us in aggregated, anonymized form in App Store Connect, along with aggregate statistics like download counts. We never receive your name, your device identifier, or anything that identifies you.
You can turn this off at Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements → Share iPhone Analytics.
StillBox saves your preferences locally on your iPhone using Apple's standard on-device storage. This includes:
StillBox does not keep a session history. It does not record when you opened the app, how long you practiced, or how many sessions you have completed.
This data never leaves your device. It is included in your iCloud or device backup if you have backups enabled, and it is removed when you delete the app.
StillBox does not request any system permissions. It does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, location, photos, or health data. It does not require an internet connection to function.
StillBox does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics tools, advertising networks, or backend services. The app is fully self-contained.
StillBox is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Because the app collects no data at all, there is nothing to collect, use, disclose, or delete under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) or comparable laws.
Breath-hold exercises are not recommended for young children without adult supervision. See our Safety page.
If we change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and note the change in the app's release notes. If a future version of StillBox collects or transmits any data, we will describe it here before that version ships, and we will ask for your permission in the app where the law or Apple's rules require it.
Privacy laws including the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, the California Consumer Privacy Act, and the EU General Data Protection Regulation give you rights to access, correct, delete, or export the personal data a company holds about you. StillBox holds none, so there is nothing for us to access, correct, delete, or export. We do not sell or share personal data, because we do not have any.
To remove the settings stored on your own iPhone, delete the app.
